I hope your trip went well.
I'm watching Joe Millionaire right now, the second hour. There's only 4 left and they are all in it for the money. The first hour they mostly sat around, smoked, drank,call each other bitches, ho's, critiques each others bodies, felt each other up, and said fuck a lot. They are so disgusting I really hope he is only worth $100. He bought Olina(a 26 year old from Sweden who likes diamonds) sunglasses worth about 400 euro's with Fox's money.
"Joe" or Dave keeps on calling them "girls".

I'm watching this right now also. I like it better than season one, even if it isn't as popular. These European women are way more fun to watch, more manipulative and greedy.

The trip was mad, but I won't post about it here for legal reasons (yes, I'm serious). Anyway, JM sounds nuts. Is there one girl you think should win or are they all nasty bitches and hos. It's kind of nice that now we Americans have proof that there are shallow, materialistic, scummy-ass people everywhere and not just here. Yay!

Also, one of my friends brought her DVD of the fourth season of "Sex and the City" on the retreat. I watched about a dozen episodes. I was all wrong about that show. Okay, I was half wrong. It was disgusting. But damn, it was also hilarious. All of the characters -- male and female -- are horrible, whiny people though, but I think that's almost the point. I would never glorify their lifestyle. It's too sad. I wonder why so many people seem to miss the subtext that these girls' lives may look pretty and candy-colored, but they're pretty damn empty.

Linda left because the remaining women were really mean to her because she was the frontrunner for JM. Next week there is a twist where one woman returns so maybe it's her. I was kind of hoping Olinda from Sweden was going to win because she possesses all the traits you mentioned. She was so awful she made the show really interesting. Anyone who trashes Americans on this board should really watch JM.

When I had HBO I never watched it and now since we don't have HBO I want to see it.

We went to Big Bear up in the San Bernardino mountains. All I'm going to say on this board is that some people in that class have totally missed the point of the class. The title of the class is: "Knowing, Marking, and Catching Monsters." Our themes include race, sexual deviance and insanity. The people in the class seem to have latched onto the last two. It's turned into one big "I'm more deviant than you are" contest which is really annoying.

Totally. I hate on Americans, but I hate on everyone. I don't discount people simply because of what they are. I end up discounting them because of who they are (although what they are often plays a role in who they are, it isn't always definitive of their personalities). I hate on a case by case basis.

Ain't that always how it is? I hear TBS is a frontrunner in buying the rights, although obviously it's gonna have to be heavily edited.

Exactly, I don't think all women are like are like the women on JM. They were making fun of him when they heard he was a cowboy but when they heard he was worth millions they suddenly got really into him and acted like American Cowgirls. What's worse "Joe" is too stupid to realize it. The women on the show are more direct than I am or any of my girlfriends. I have friends who dated guys because they made a lot of money and when they were with them they acted like money wasn't a big deal, but it really it did for them. Only they couldn't let him know that. The women on JM are very upfront about his money.

I really hate when they do that so I should just get the DVD.
