Right, well seeing as the Simpsons bloke is going to be there early doors i.e. 8.30, will we make the meeting time at Larry's Pub a little earlier? Which means that only the true alcofrolics be there? No idea what the walking time is from Larry's to S&G, I suppose it depends if you are wearing suitable walking footwear. Hmmmm.

Thanks for the picture.. at least I now know where I'm supposed to be going on Friday.. Now, can anyone supply directions to here from the picadilly tram station please!

Bloke from the Simpsons.. ? What's the story there then?

I aim to please .. so should be there about 19.36.. by my best, yet crude, estimates of Trams from Altrincham.

PS will they be playing soft 70's soul classic 'Zoom' in Fat Larrys bar?

    Ruff!
Aren't you going for a curry first? If not, I can meet you at Piccadilly tram stop if you want and I'll personally take you down the back alleys of Manchester.

Let me know where you want me

No, the curry proved to be a bridge too far for Grim and I.. have to stay at work till 5. So aim to start from Knutsford at 6.30 to arrive an hour later!
I'd be delighted to meet you and wander down darkened underpasses, beneath iron bridges, and by languid canal's, to our destination. Look out for me!

Aim to be there about 7.30, So see you Friday Brummy lass....

"Oooh you are awful.. But I like you" (nothing like a classic dose of Dick in the afternoon is there!)

Default these boots are made for...

ok walking time (in sensible shoes) from Larrys to S&G is 8 minutes
so that's 1/2 an hour in daft stilhetto's (not looking at you Ruff) & wi a couple o'black russian inside ya!
    Grim
P.S. oh Ruff (depending on your footware tram stop to Larry's 5 mins - just turn left outta tram station & head south & take care we don't need another Alan Bradley) - Bluey's route may differ from the norm though so bring a flask!

Look, just because I couldn't see your hotel in Piccadilly Gardens....when I was stood in Piccadilly Gardens, doesn't mean I won't deliver our Ruff safely to the bosom of Larry!

    Now, where is that A-Z...
