Default Poison Ivy, I Think I Love You

You just described Dennis Miller as a "political dilittante and a fool." I have accused you of being provincial and yet I love having to read your posts and look things up, most recently I had to brush up on George Best, as per a rather new (only few days old) post of yours.

Unlike Chill are you pretty, not fat, straight, and under 30?

Cherish is the word I use to describe
All the feeling that I have hiding here for you inside
You don't know how many times
I wished that I had told you
You don't know how many times
I wished that I could hold you
You don't know how many times
I've wished that I could mold you
    Into someone who could
Cherish me as much as I cherish you

Perish is the word that more than applies
To the hope in my heart each time I realize
That I am not going to be the one
    To share your dreams
That I am not going to be the one
    To share your schemes
That I am not going to be the one
To share what seems to be the life
That you could cherish me as much as I do yours.

    Oh I'm beginning to think
    That man has never found
The words that could make you want me
That have the right amount of letters
    Just the right sound
    That could make you hear
    Make you see
That you're driving me out of my mind

Oh I could say I need you
But then you'd realize that I want you
Just like a thousand other guys
    Who say they'd love you
With all the rest of their lives
When all they wanted was to
    Touch your face, your hand
    And gaze into your eyes

Cherish is the word I use to describe
All the feeling that I have hiding here for you inside
You don't know how many times I wished that I had told you
You don't know how many times I wished that I could hold you
You don't know how many times I wished that I could mold you
Into someone that could cherish me as much as I cherish you

    And I do
    Cherish you

Default I may not be able to spell "dilettante," but I am not a moose either!!

It is a new word for me, you cow! Even highly educated people, with graduate degrees don't know every word in the English language!

Oh, my I just realized that I am one, because I have superficial interests in certain arts and branches of knowledge.

The Angelic Upstarts had a song..."I'm an Upstart!"

    Well, I'm a dilettante!!!!!!! Yes, I dabble!!!!

Default Don't get all offended. You're the one who started slinging mud.

Yeah, not everybody knows every word in the English language, but not everyone is born with a wonderful metabolism either. All I'm saying is nobody's perfect, so please don't compare me with people unless it's necessary. You can compliment Poison Ivy all you want, but there was absolutely no reason to bring me into it. It was inconsiderate and rude of you to do so.

Just like your interest in certain arts and branches and knowledge is superficial, so too is your interest in your fellow human beings apparently. Let's hope you outgrow that. Better late than never.

Default Sorry Chill, I really am

I have this terrible habit of comparing people and I need to stop doing that.

I was wrong and I am sorry. There was no need to bring you into it. It was inconsiderate, stupid, and hurtful. Thanks for pointing it out.

And, I still love the way you write.

p.s. I need to lose 10 pounds myself!
