    Default Diana Dors documentary

Did anyone see it? I thought her son, Mark Dawson, was very strange. Why has he waited until now to decipher a code that will lead him to “millions”? He seemed really desperate to get hold of this cash, (which I suppose you would be) but why after all this time?

Did anyone notice how immaculate the envelope, containing the code, was? And how “aged” the paper was, but no marks anywhere near the code itself? Ooh, I have a suspicious nature.

Interestingly enough, a biography written in 1998, ‘Come By Sunday’ has the following passage

“She (Diana) had left a trust fund for Jason and Gary, and the rest of the estate to Alan, but in an uncharacteristically vindictive gesture, she actually disinherited Mark. Both Diana’s and Alan’s wills were filed on the same day in October 1981 – witnessed by their chauffeur and publicity manager – around the time of her 50th birthday, which Mark did not attend…but wills are flexible and it’s likely she thought she’d have plenty of time to change it. Either way, Mark never commented publicly as to whether he knew why she did this”

Maybe the money was a way to make amends. Maybe it’s a trick. I don’t suppose we shall ever know. Intriguing stuff though.

It was an incredibly interesting programme. I really didn't even know she was involved with the Krays. Her son didn't seem too odd to me, but what about the bloke who purchased her personal possessions for about 80 grand and lived in a complete tip. He was seriously strange...
