Over the years I have collected various Morrisey and The Smiths items apart from the records.
I have stacks of fanzines and newspaper clipping going back to The Smiths early days,T-shirts,programmes and various other stuff.
I was wondering what is the most treasured Morrissey/ Smiths item that people have outside of records and promos.
Mine are the following:-
1) A silver Mexican coined engraved with Morrissey's face and name and the words "Mexixo 2000 Tour"
2)Programme from The Smiths "Meat Is Murder" tour of America and Canada. Front cover features Viv Nicholson and is the same as the "Barbarism Begins At Home C.D".
The band played at Kingswood in Toronto on June 9th. Thus disspelling the myth that Moz never plays Canada ....okay it was 1985/6 !
3) A coffee cup with a picture of a seated Moz on the front with the words "Two Lumps Please".
This was on sale at some USA gigs but Moz had it withdrawn as it featured Smiths lyrics and not his solo ones.
