Default Smiths Guitar Tablature... chords/ bass tab

A spate of questions have prompted me to post this..

    http://www.wholenote.com/tab/artist.asp?i=2741

Seems a decent source for reference if not always strictly accurate (as is typical of this field when someone like Axel from the Netherlands, aged 15, posts his lame attempt at working a song out)

Hope this helps all those inspiring aspiring axe gods.. so a suggestion, let's all form a massive Smiths tribute band.. Like the polyphonic spree.. 50 strong and singing and playing as one and in perfect harmony (teaching the world to sing!).. You can come along for guest vocals Mr.Morrissey, coz I know you read these things even if it takes your valuable time.

Hey Ruff, I'll get me guitar out tonight-

Not sure I'll trust Trygve S Haaland's version of Girlfriend in a coma though!

Saw this Jam tribute band last night, the Jamm- absolute sweaty heaven, must have lost about a stone in weight. Don't suppose you know the bass tab for 'tube station at midnight' do you? The ones I look at are all wrong.

There's nothing on this site but there is a tab for 'The Eaton Rifles'(?!)

    Cheers mate

use a text editor.. like WInpad.. Usually at the bottom of the list. It's only basic text that you're viewing.

I like my '68 Fender Tele which looks terrible but plays and sounds GREAT... I also like my Revevend Rocco. It has hollow chambers and both pickups have coil taps so there are alot of timbres available. My secret addiction is that I'm an 80's Kramer fan... (but not the new stuff with the Kramer name)

What amps do you like? I usually play one of my Mesa Boogie Mark IIs... I also have a Marshall half stack... but I rarely use it anymore since I usually only play smaller gigs and use a sound company for larger ones.

i'm lucky enough to have a fender twin, although, with my small apartment i usually stick to my crate 20. my twin sounded like heaven when i had my 74' fender starcaster(still pissed about having to sell it). i also have a gretsch acoustic archtop that i mess around alot on. my current project is rebuilding a vox spitfire that i picked up for almost nothing.

I love Fender Twins... I wish I still had one (sold it when I needed to pay the rent... ) I have always wanted an old Vox... please post a pic of yours after you finish the restoration!

    Cheers!
