Ah yes I misheard them mention that Morrissey was now signed and Janice didn't seem to contradict them or correct the statement. I didn't get the name of the label they said.
Could it be true?
That their manager kept saying he knew someone who knew Morrissey. He got a tape to Morrissey who asked if he could come and see them play a gig. They wren't doing any gigs so Morrissey visited them and they played their songs which he liked. He asked them to tour the U.S with him but they couldn't afford to. The rest you know - about them playing the Royal Albert Hall.
They said that they liked Mozzers new songs - mentioned First of the Gang to Die - said it was as good as anything he's written. Dropped in the conversation that it was good he's now signed to '??mumbles????' (I think)
