What did you guys think of their album?
I know that "Say hello to Angels" is open plagiarising of "This Charming Man", but...
They are a really good live band.

Well I've never heard of 'em so they can't be much cop.

i think sparacus is the andy i. person -- he sure posts the same kind of bollocks

you're a rock music authority, but have never heard of interpol who are now darlings of the music press?

wow, your credibility is disappearing at record speed.

The 'darlings' of which music publications? You clearly don't read cutting edge ones.

i don't read music publications at all because i don't need a magazine to tell me what to listen to, but i do know that interpol are being heralded by the music press. we at moz-solo have had this discussion several times already. they're being called a joy division for the twenty-first century and will be appearing at coachella.

and you're just so cutting edge, aren't you? what do you read, "mister bob dylan is king"? "your grandparent's favorite music gazette"?

hmmm. I really like Interpol and am looking forward to seeing them in the summer. But that's just me.

i agree. interpol is pretty good, judging from the songs i've heard. and this sparcacus person is ridiculous. i wouldn't pay him any attention. he claims to read the NME but doesn't know who interpol is. on the NME website, there are several news items about interpol to be found. he's just trying to show off. he's a music snob and that's all. he's a complete prick. if you weren't around to listen to the smiths back in '84, you're not a real fan as far as he's concerned. he's a fascist who can't stand it if anyone else has an opinion.

Hey Mindy.
I'm a neophyte Smiths/Moz fan-child, like you.
I read Nick Jr. and Highlights Magazine.
And I know who Interpol are....

Re: i think sparacus is Mike Joyce.

I read literary fiction and the Weekly World News, and I've never heard of them.
Pass the mashed potato.

All of these publications have featured Interpol. The NME just sponsered a tour of the UK featuring The Datsuns / The Polyphonic Spree / INTERPOL / The Thrills.
You're obviously buying the magazines and then not opening them!

Sparacus always has a few aliases during his time on the board. I used to think he was Mr. Improper but if he isn't, he's at least a close relative.
