    Default Coo-eee Cynthia! I'm ho-ome!!!!

Yes I have returned, unscathed and with slightly less brain cells than I set off with this afternoon.

Thank you all for your concern over whether or not I would enjoy The Good Mixer, but I had been there before and knew what to expect. One thing I was not prepared for however was the horror of the locked toilet door. Having already visited the Worlds End for a few jars, I supped up in the Mixer and soon found myself in bladder desperation. Hurrying to the door I found it to be locked and had to retreat to the bar, ask for the key, then try again. An 'accident' was only seconds away!

Did you know 1 in 10 Camden inhabitants suffer from either mental or psychological problems? 5000 people live in hostels and even the former mayor fled the borough following the 'bin bag murders' until the offender was locked away. The once proud indie hideout is in utter ruin!

London dwellers may be interested to know the other establishments I visited (while reading 'Run Spot Run') were Bar Vinyl (where a newspaper article concerning The Smiths is pinned to the wall behind the bar), The Lock Tavern, The Hawley Arms, The Purple Turtle and another trip to The Worlds End. I was tempted to stay out and visit Barfly later on, but alas at this stage a trip to a club on ones on is even too much for me.

    Incidently, Spot gets away...

Yay The Purple Turtle!!! Love it. You were about a mile and a half from my flat. Glad you enjoyed it. BTW hope you're living NORF of the river! lol
