Sean Hughes filmed at Morrissey gig in Dublin maybe on Channel 4 tonight

I was at the 1st night Morrissey did in Dublin in October.
Sean Hughes came past me, being pushed in a wheelchair. I must admit he didn't look too well, but someone told me he was at a Royal Albert Hall gig and was walking.
Last night I saw a trailer on Channel 4 for a programme on tonight at 9pm called 'Celebrity Wheelchair Challenge' in which 'celebs' are wheelchair bound and have to get around using public transport etc. Sean Hughes was one of the 3 celebs selected for the show.
Channel 4 were also filming at the Dublin gig for their up and coming documentary on Morrissey, so they may have been doubling up and using footage for both?
I am not saying the gig will feature on the programme, I am saying there must be a good chance as he did attend the gig in a wheelchair and that Channel 4 were filming that night! Fingers x.
And to save several postings about Channel 4, it is UK Channel 4.

Well done that man. A career as a detective beckons:)

Errrm, maybe not ...

The programme description on the Channel 4 web site just says it's a journey from Edinburgh to London - nothing about a slight detour to Dublin to see Morrissey

"Channel 4 challenges three celebrities to face a journey from Edinburgh to London by wheelchair without ever using their legs. Over two days Gaby Roslin, Sean Hughes and Tania Strecker experience something of what it's like for Britain's 750,000 wheelchair users."

Re: a hostage to kindess

and the wheels underneath her...

Edinburgh to London - simple, just roll on to a train (that is if you can get on the train in the first place - I hope the staff at the stations help). I reckon Sean did take a detour via Dublin or else it wouldn't have been much of a challenge would it?

And wouldn't it have been just too weird if he was in a wheelchair in Dublin for absolutely NO reason? I guess we'll find out tonight.

Or maybe it's a series and it will be in a future show?

Re: a hostage to kindess

I do agree with thee Tingle.

Oh and I watched the film with Mrs Tingle in it. Weird.

actually, i don't think it's moz, though.

Was it one of the supports?
He only mentioned pissing into a pint glass.
But I was sooooooooooooo exicted.

Re: ATTENTION!!

Sadly, all they said as he entered the venue was 'Sean is going to see a band tonight'. And the bit they showed was one of the suport bans (Sack or the Pony Club.)
Ah well.

He was at the Moz gig, but surprise, they wouldn't allow filming during his set

Is Sean Hughes a twat?

I've heard that Mr Hughes is a bit of a pain in the arse, I thought he would by OK and a nice guy - but no.
Does anyone know any different?
Vd

Re: I don't think so

Well, I've not spent any great length of time in his company, but I like his humour. He's a 30/40 something bloke who likes Morrissey - so to most of the world he probably would be a pain in the arse. His radio show was usually pretty entertaining and Morrissey was quite keen to chat on it wasn't he?
