BBC6 Meat Is Murder Live!

Go to www.bbc.co.uk/6music and you can hear the live version of Meat Is Murder from the Oxford Apollo gig (March 85), the same one that appeared on b-side of That Joke single.

BBC6 are broadcasting the whole Oxford Apollo gig tonight (and it'll be on site to hear again for next week). I know it's a very common bootleg but newer fans who've yet to hear it should definitely do so. It's a good gig from the Meat Is Murder tour (so no There Is A Light etc) and if I remember rightly some great live versions of What She Said, Headmaster Ritual and Barbarism Begins At Home.

Are they broadcasting the entire thing? They ahd The Smiths as the headliner but have changed it to the Cure so the Cure will be the full set and probably only four songs off the Oxford show which they already broadcast a couple of months ago apparently.
