Morrissey Peel Sessions

I was wondering if anyone knew why Morrissey hasn't done any Peel sessions ( or has he? ) - I know that John Peel has said on several occasions that he would like him to. I would have thought that because of the impact of the Peel session on the Smiths, that Morrissey would have been keen to do it.

The Moz has made reference to doing some Peel Sessions, soon after the Smiths split. He said something to the effect that he wasn't pleased with them, and so they never will see the light of day. He made a comment like "They treat everyone like they're some unsigned band from...."

In this world of Boxed sets and unreleased tracks, I imagine one day (if not soon) they'll see the light of day. Bad Moz is better than No Moz at all

Morrissey has recorded some BBC Radio 1 tracks, around the time between the breakup of The Smiths and the recording of "Viva Hate". I've heard they do exist on BBC trascription discs.
