    Default Wayahead / GigsandTours tickets

I booked my Glasgow tickets ages ago on above website and alhtough they have managed to charge my credit card, I still have not tickets and the order tracker says they will be sent `shortly` (as it did 2 weeks ago).
Anyone else booked with these ruffians too? Got your tickets yet?

Yes, and No (Glasgow gig too, as it happens.)
I'm starting to get nostalgic about Ticketmaster.ie (who did the Dublin tickets) - while they're robbing barstewards, they're generally fairly efficient robbing barstewards.

Just spoke to wayahead after 20 minutes of unanswered ringing, they say they have not received the tickets from the promoters and that they will be sent at least 7 days prior to the gig.

Didn't instill me with confidence, but also didn't seem like a fraud/scam.

    regards,
    sw

thanks for the info...so their `7days 24 hr` helpdesk was finally there then. I booked through these folk because they were advertised on this site so thought they were OK.

This is exactly the same story as the RAH show tickets...hopefully they will show up before the end of October, otherwise...

Actually, this story does not have a happy ending, at least for me (hope you have better luck.) When I checked my order status today it had changed to 'problems with order - contact this number'. When I phoned, I got basically the story in the attached e-mail (they've sent the tickets to be collected at the venue - they blamed the promoters for delay in issuing the tickets and claimed there wasn't enough time to send them by post as booked). I'm in Ireland BTW, but it still doesn't take 2 flippin' weeks for the post to get here.

    -----------

    Dear MS xxxxxxxx,

Due to the possiblity that you may not receive your tickets for
MORRISSEY at Barrowland, Glasgow on 03/11/2002
safely before the date of the show.

I have arranged for your order to be available for collection from the venue
box office at Barrowland on the day of the performance from
    1900hrs.*

You will need to quote reference xxxxxxxx and provide the credit/debit
card used to place the order as identification and a copy of this E-mail.

    Kind regards,

    Ian
    helpdesk@wayahead.com

*Please note the Box office may close when the headlining act's performance
begins. (This only applies to concerts)

Do you want to take action against Wayahead for the shabby way they have treated us?
