Booze, Blood and Noise - The Violent Roots Of Manchester Punk

Always makes me wonder why Morrissey denies being in The Nosebleeds when the evidence is so overwhelming that he was in the band and played gigs.

Yes, it was Paul Morley who reviewed the Nosebleeds and called Moz "Steven Morrison". He kind of knew him by face, as they lived on the same bus route into town.

Thanks for posting; an excellent read.

Frank Owens? Aint that the 'MM' guy who said Moz was a racist cos of 'Panic', 'Burn down the disco / Hang the blessed DJ', Etc.

And Johnny said the next time he saw Owens around town, he'd kick his head in.

Sounds like he's well used to it, by this account ;)
