It's fantastic from start to finish. "Queen," "Longpig," and "Grid" are the major standouts for me but it's all excellent. Intelligent, introspective pop music.

I can tell it's going to be good, you know when you just know! I watched a couple of clips on Youtube and made the right decision to buy it on vinyl and bought Queen on Itunes. I wish I had it today but it's something to look forward to.

I made an iTunes playlist of 25 songs I enjoyed that came out this year. I know it’s supposed to be a top 10 but I figured this was the right thread to share it:

Oh man, Mike Hadreas opening for Morrissey is what dreams are made of.

Yes, Perfume Genius, 2014's Jobriath. If only Morrissey knew...

Maybe he does know. True story: I asked Jesse via Facebook back in 2012 (before he deleted his account) what his favorite record of that year was. His answer: Put Your Back N 2 It ...Perfume Genius's sophomore LP! :thumb:

For the very first time, I find myself glad that Jesse has some influence on Morrissey. If Morrissey tours the US in 2015, Perfume Genius would make an excellent opener if Anna Calvi isn't available. A girl can dream...

I didn't hear Queen before looking at this thread, what a great song!

For me this is one of those few magical television popular music moments that are nowadays unfortunately all too rare
