The joy brings many things it cannot bring you joy
Sons of mothers huddle here men and boys

1850 swung the doors and human sewage swept
inside where victims speaking wise
and where the hardened cried

I was sent here by a 3 foot half-wit in a wig
I took his insults on the chin, and never did I flinch

A swagger hides the fear in here
by this rude reprieve
and there is no one on this earth
who I’d feel sad to leave

You see we all lose
We all lose

What those in power do to you
reminds us at a glance
How humans hate each others’s guts
And show it given a chance

We never say aloud the things
That we say in our prayers
Cause no one cares

Many executed here
By the awful lawfully good
But the only thing that makes me cry
Is when I see the sky

Bredan Behan laughter rings
for what he had or hadn’t done
because he knew then as I know now
That for each and every one of us
We all lose, rich or poor we all lose”

Nice. I cannot wait to hear the whole album front to back. The 15th cannot come fast enough. I will probably be a bit thrown off by the track list since I’m so used to hearing “World Peace” into “Istanbul” into “Earth..” into “Bullfighter” ha

By the awful lawfully good

Going by the incessant word play of 'Autobiography', this certainly sounds like a geniune Moz lyric.
I hope it is geniune, as it's leagues ahead of the shite we've heard from the officially released tracks.

I really couldn't be happier. If this isn't legitimate, could 'Anonymous' please go to the trouble of recording this themselves?

Real or not, the line "the only thing that makes me cry is when I see the sky" is amazing.

Real or not, this is beautiful. Certain parts gave me chills.

Please be real.

What the f*** has this got to with Doug Mountjoy? I was anticipating Morrissey's version of Snooker Loopy nuts are we in the vein of Roy's Keen.

Is this the first time Brendan Behan has been mentioned in a song since Dexys Midnight Runners, burn it down?

Not bad but am I the only one who would've probably preferred a song about Lovejoy?

Apart from the continuation of the tiresome judge-bashing, these lyrics (if genuine) are very promising.

the lyrics are legit, Keith Cameron (MOJO) just confirmed it on twitter.

Confirmed as legit ~

~ by Keith Cameron, writer of that excellent 'Mojo' review: "That lyric transcription is more or less accurate, except "where victims speak in whines" (2nd verse) and "by this rule we breathe" (4th verse)

Quite exciting, really.
