PETA stencils streets of Manchester with 'Meat Is Still Murder' message for Morrissey's birthday

"World Orphans Are None Of Your Business" Human Beings Are Animals Too.

Meat is still murder, but so are eggs, dairy, fish. Etc. We think we've covered all that. But we would point out that human beings are also animals and "World Orphans Are None Of Your Business" is a great sub-title for the triumph that is "Istanbul".

We find it rather tragic that on the day of his single greatest artistic achievement the main evidence of promotion seems to be a street stencil on a pavement in Manchester, especially as the city recently hosted Robert Del Naja v Adam Curtis. This Agit-Prop, Art-Pop, Art-Hounds extravaganza covers so much of the "World Peace Is None Of Your Business" themes that it's tempting to speculate as to whether Morrissey attended the event. *thinking*.

Now that "BrummieBoy" has rescinded the fatwa against Morrissey, it's entirely possible that a similar project could be kick-started to support WPINOYB as when "BrummieBoy" says "make it so!" it always eventuates. Perhaps there needs to be a time-lag whilst the venom and ill-will caused by Morrissey's comments about David Banda and Madonna evaporate. It would be a terrible tragedy if this is the limit of ambition, especially given the tearful tantrums which a little birdie tells us are happening in Harvest as a result to today's ultimate melt-down. And Morrissey hasn't even formally denounced them with a fatwa yet!

One of the "BrummieBoyMassive" has a son in Bristol so we will make inquiries. Some people still think that Robert De Naja is Banksy. Morrissey thanked Bansky, but who was he thanking? We've no idea. Maybe our contacts in Bristol can shed some light. It's probably the case that nobody is ever going to definitively find out who Banksy is because, like "BrummieBoy" he probably doesn't exist as a singular person but is rather part of a collective art-hounds consciousness like "BrummieBoy". Not even a celebrity of Morrissey's status has a chance of an Audience with either Banksy or BrummieBoy, but that's not how these things take shape. In our circles of influence "NameR4Graves".

Our ears hurt from headphone use listening to "Istanbul" and to Miley Cyrus singing "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out". Time for a glass of champagne and a vegan stew with couscous and harissa.

Best
"BrummieBoy"

"Adam Curtis’s film drew together threads connecting Russian punk, Jane Fonda in full aerobic flight and the legacy of pop art to illuminate the rise of the managed state; Massive Attack’s live performance provided the emotional weight. Surrounded by screens, audiences of 2000 a night discovered that buried optimism + bone-shaking bass = an awesome intellectual and visceral experience."

Interesting to see how Moz tweaked the design from a pig to a cow for the 'official' stencil on sale at gigs. I wonder what it was about the pig he didn't like. Too close to a Peter Hogg reference maybe?

Maybe the beef industry is bigger than the pork industry.
