I was born in the 90s but have strong memories of going to France on holiday as a kid and listening to this in my mum and dad's car on cassette

If I had a choice between living a nice, peaceful life on Earth, with the only caveat being I could never listen to the music of The Dave Clark Five, or being rocketed into the deepest, untouched corners of outer space, with every golden opportunity to listen to the music of The Dave Clark Five on my cheap Craig headphones, what would I choose?

I would gladly choose the deepest, untouched corners of outer space, where time & daily chores vanish, and the music of The Dave Clark Five could reign supreme.

"Because" by The Dave Clark Five (August, 1964)

-"Because" was a #3 hit in both Canada and the United States.
