Welcome to the 70s

Re: Welcome to the 70s!

^^^^^:thumb: One of the greatest songs of all-time, by anyone.

Here's my favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd song. I especially love the lyrics. An absolutely beautiful song.

"The Ballad of Curtis Loew" by Lynyrd Skynyrd (April, 1974)

Great song! I had never heard that one before. Very beautiful!

Here's another beautiful 70's song. This song is produced by George Martin.

This album's one of my favorite random thrift store buys. I bought it just because I liked the cover:

I thought David Surkamp was a woman for most of this song when I first put it on my turntable. :o

oh yeah, Fleetwood Mac, there "from the 70s" in my head, and don't tell my parents
for while I hated them playing them when I was young, their songs stuck with me and still listen to a number of them now :o

"Love Me" by Yvonne Elliman (1976)

-Fantastic vocals. :)

-I love the way the song breaks at the 2:18 mark. It's the best change of pace I've ever heard in a song. Absolutely beautiful.
