Don't know if this has already been posted on here (couldn't be bothered to look for it), but here's a really nice interview with Johnny by John Doran. Bet you didn't know that The Smiths went to see Van Halen!

Great interview, I had not seen it, thank you for posting.
Johnny comes across so well, even when I met him in person, I am always left with the impression that he is a really down to earth, all around, nice chap.

loved his response to one of the latter questions where the interviewer expressed his disappointment in the lyrics moz put down for 'some girls are bigger than others'

johnny answered gracefully throughout and in this case stating he backed Morrissey all the way and was happy to do so because he was his best friend
