This one is Sappy. It was titled Verse Chorus Verse by the group at some stage, hence the confusion amongst collectors and fans.

Another song, only ever titled Verse Chorus Verse, made it's way onto the With The Lights Out box set:

There are at least half a dozen different versions of Sappy floating around, all worth checking out if you like the song.

Verse Chorus Verse was a much later song, and part of the In Utero demos, I think.

Anyway, both are f***ing brilliant. If I had to pick one, it'd be Verse Chorus Verse.

If you like the opening track of In Utero (it's f***ing amazing), then there is a very cool live version from '94 which segues into My Sharona by The Knack:

Sorry for the string of posts, on a bit of a Nirvana memory lane stroll at the moment.

The less famous Man Who Sold The World cover. Nirvana as a 5-piece (Melora or Lori on cello, never sure which is which, and Pat Smear on 2nd guitar).

I am very excited for the In Utero remaster with the three CDs and DVD. I also bought the Nevermind box when it came out. But I am obsessed with Nirvana/Kurt Cobain in a big way. I've been a huge fan since Nevermind originally came out and was lucky enough to have seen them in concert once. The only musical artist I will always love more than Moz.

So... Did anyone get any of the In Utero 20th anniversary editions and if so, what do you think? I got the super deluxe box yesterday and I am pretty damn happy with it. I spent $125 on it and I don't feel bad about it at all. The packaging and book is very nice and actually includes pictures I don't think I have ever seen before. I realize there are not many leftovers as far as songs go that remain unheard and knowing that I am pleased with the CDs. As for the DVD, it brings back so many memories as I got to see Nirvana live once during that time period and also because I can still remember watching Live and Loud on New Year's Eve of 1993 into 94. I would recommend this box if you are a huge Nirvana fan. I am totally biased though because they have been my favorite band for over 20 years now. Sorry Moz.

I downloaded the super deluxe edition from iTunes, and a hard copy of the Super Deluxe edition arrived in Cape Town not long afterwards.

I was also very impressed by it. I loved the In Utero fridge magnet, and the In Utero side of the double sided poster.

Live and Loud is definitely the highlight of the package, and the demos are interesting too.
