CELL Phone Uploads DAILY

Great mornings. Playing with phone, walk into sons room to say good morning, he lays a brutal wrestling take down on me. All good fun in the morning. I resist partially, but enjoy the moment immensely. A high five and a "good job buddy" starts the day right.

Why do you post photographs without faces? It is very strange.

Sometimes my brain gets really lost. Like it can solve problems and exist in real time, but a part of it is stuck somewhere else, like in another traumatic life, feeling the fear and disconnect while there's nothing really threatening in the current situation. This has happened since I was a baby. It was like I could hear the world turn. I'd listen to television to pull me back into 100% here and now. THese days not living in a home that has the TV on at all times, this guy centers me. Just his calm and presence, his "I've got this. Don't worry." sort of attitude. It's hard to describe.

The other day my friend's two-year-old didn't see this army man on the sidewalk, she saw a surfer.

I actually feel a little sick and twisted posting this but what is present is present. I was at the grocery store with my son. He had a craving, as I did, for ice cream. We picked birthday cake flavor ice cream. At the checkout, I pick up sunset magazine and flip through it. I tend to believe I am fairly observant and things I have read or seen are recognized easily, or at least I pick up on it anyway. Funny how things work that way, in the manner in which we reference things in our mind and how they connect to the other activities we have.

I am out of town, literally in the middle of nowhere. Riding with teamates doing race recon for the last weekend of racing for the year. Full team out and ready for a fight.

Sometimes the simplest of things gives me great pleasure and fulfillment. Last night I put together a plyobox for my winter strength training sessions. The instructions stated to use clamps to keep it square as you drilled the preholes for the screws so it won't split the plywood. This sounds silly on its face but I am glad I am a tinkerer and had the clamps already in the garage from previous hobby projects.

...I don't even know what that is, but I smiled like a village idiot. :)

Is there any situation in which Barney doesn't look super cool?

Cambria has a Scarecrow Festival every fall. Randomly off Highway 1 in a field was a marching band of scarecrows with pumpkin heads and scarecrows cheering them on. It was eerie as hell, so I tied Barney to the baton twirler and took a pic. All their heads were pumpkins and gourds, some with sculpted noses and realistically painted faces. Scarier than clowns.

Those are nice to have. The art of C-Clamp placement is a delicate and time-honored tradition in saying "f*** IT!" and "Okay, I think this'll stay..."

You know, pharmaceutical companies have made tremendous progress in the area of psychosis drugs. You should check it out online or talk to your mental healthcare provider for more info. :p

My dad and I were photobombed by a bitch. "Wah." lol

On the walk back from the pub last night I came across this 1950's council house with an Escort RS Turbo and Sierra in the driveway. Very 90's and very Dagenham Dave- I am only about 20 miles from the place mind. These characters still exist where I'm from.

Festival, my kids are out there somewhere. In the 90's, I feel the air, it's wonderful.

The Last Bookstore has a hilarious person working the Used Book Pricing Desk. (It's a book about Satan. Brushing up on the enemy.)
