Amazing show, will post more info when I get back to the hotel.
November spawned a monster. Great. Have missed hearing that one live.
Thanks for the setlist![]()
Set - list looks quite decent. Looking forward to Sydney ( one week to go !) ...
Great show, Morrissey sounded amazing and the band were in good form.
Very happy with the setlist, even songs I don't really like such as Paris sounded much better live. November was a surprise and lucky to hear Hooligan too.
Morrissey was quite chatty, can't remember everything that he said but he thanked new Zealand for having tv ads denouncing battery hens. He spoke on Boz's arm - "he fell off a roof, as you do". Boz used a guitar stand or would sit.
So happy, and am looking forward to seeing him again in Auckland tomorrow.
Im happy that he played November Spawned a Monster!
Thanks, that's my cat Petal.
Um let me think... The band were wearing All Blacks shirts (for those who don't know the All Blacks are our national rugby team). Morrissey passed the mic into the crowd and let people ask questions. Nothing too interesting, one girl said she loved him, another said she was vegetarian because if him. One guy said a couple of lines from Munich Air Disaster 1958, which Morrissey coyly acknowledged. He told the Wellington crowd to get off their fat arses and go to the Auckland show tomorrow. One guy managed to get on stage and grab a hold of Morrissey's leg, I think during sweet and tender hooligan. Took his shirt off during LMKY.
Oh and I got to touch his hand![]()
Seven Smiths songs - the most he's ever played since the Smiths split.
Must be missing Marr more than ever...
Loved it, epic as always

I thought we had been absolved of further live renderings of Irish Blood, English Heart and First of the Gang To Die. Alas - at least the latter exhibited signs of a much less moribund arrangement on the last tour.
Quite interesting - telling? - that To Give is still in the line-up yet none of the new songs. Curious to see if this continues on the future dates here and Stateside.
Beautiful photos, Bryce Edwards. #11 looks like you captured him just as someone sneezed.
I noticed some interesting imagery on the bass drums. One graphic looks like a leaf or fern. Did anyone see the other image on the other drum?

Wow, November Spawned a Monster! When was the last time we got that, 2004? Bet it was awesome.
