I am utterly confused. FWIW, as far as the "tasteless" comment, I apologize if you took offense to me saying that. Suicide / depression is something that hits close to home for me and it was a knee jerk reaction, but I stand by what I said. I wasn't blindly just agreeing with marred.
As far as "projecting tastes onto my kids" I can assure you, that's not the case. It was nothing more than him hating the fact that we listen to it in the car/around the house (heck, my dad listened to some HORRIBLE crap when I was growing up) and we think it's funny and call him "Grumpy Kid". As shown earlier, he's into his own thing, My Little Pony, Spongebob, Minecraft, etc. I maybe am being slow but there is no deep meaning behind the whole thing, no reason to "smell a rat". Trust me. I'm not out to make enemies, I quite enjoy the discussion on this board for the most part. And you contributed nicely to the XTC thread and as far as I know we're "friends" on here, too.
In summation: I have no problem with you or what you post, just wasn't into the suicide thing and I don't think that's a reason to attack my family. If I misinterpreted what you wrote, again, I apologize.

It doesn't matter. You don't owe me any explanations and I am not obligated to apologize; I make a lot on here up as I go along and ultimately who cares. Your kid is your business; what he's into is his business, I don't care. Sometimes I talk a lot of shit; sometimes I go overboard and sometimes not. You're not really on my radar; don't take that personally but my point is you neither register enough to me as a poster good or bad for me to really devote a lot of energy to arguing with you.
The lung thing; that's a just a reference to something from three years ago. I posted a picture of my son, who has Cystic Fibrosis, getting his breathing therapy. It was not an inappropriate picture and it was during a troll war I was having with Viva and NHNS at the time. The picture wasn't pornographic, grotesque, or disturbing in any way; it was just a picture of him playing video games with this inflatable vest on, which was hooked up to these hoses which run to a machine that pressurizes the vest and vibrates it to break up stuff in his lungs. And also he was wearing a nebulizer mask for some inhalation meds he was taking while it happened. I posted it in the greater context of a conversation I was having with them; they asked me to prove I had a sick kid or something. I don't even remember.
He isn't hooked up to the goddamn thing 24-7, but it's a part of his (our) daily life and the life of anyone with CF. You can find similar pictures online on medical databases and CF websites and things...to me there was and is nothing disturbing about it but most people here were horrified because you can't really present anyone with anything kid-related that isn't a Target ad or they'll freak out; for instance Fatf*** Geezer basically threatened to call DCFS on me.
But Viva and NHNS, not being f***ing namby-pamby retards like most people on here, and having a sense of humor UNLIKE most people on here, got it and ran with it in context and eventually the troll war ended and I asked Skinny to remove it (I had made my point) and everything was fine.
Anyway, side with who you like, I don't care, but marred is a piece of shit and so is Geezer and so is Realitybites. I get that you are one of those "nice guy" types who wants to get along with everybody and that's fine and obviously you can make up your own mind but stick around long enough and you'll see who the real blights are here.

This new crew that's popped up in the past 2 or 3 months pretty much universally suck. There's a few good new members like NumberOneUno, Raytownian, Detritus, etc. Man, I miss Iona Mink, Davie (literally the nicest person on this site), Cornelius Blaze (yeah he occasionally posts, but not nearly often enough), Playcat 2000 ( I miss her fire and passion), Girl Afraid ( a true Moz fan), Troubleluvsme, Morriszey ( any man that starts a Doors thread and posts Boney M's "Sunny" two different times is ace in my book), and of course Reelaround (my favorite poster ever at Moz-Solo!!!). There's five or six others that I can't conjure up right now. Anyway, this new crew sucks. I'd rather watch Nascar than read their posts, and yes that's an insult.
