THIRD-EYE BLIND? Both-Ears Deaf, more like.
Certainly a good thread.
I didn't know that Morrissey had admited he's / was bissexual.
I just wanna know who has more right to live?a chicken or a fetus?

Well that was a lot of it. I got so sick of people giving me shit about using AOL. I liked how basic it was and streamlined. But telling people I had an AOL account always resulted in a response like, "oh, are you still using dial-up, too?" or "hey, do you use a pager, too?" or "hey have you heard? These terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center!"...like, as late as last year I was getting this shit....it got annoying.
I don't doubt it. Actually I can think of three five-star songs from that album that I know as singles, so I'm sure the rest is good. They just represent a time in the 90s that I thought was kind of dismal. I'm sure they'll get their due, though. If kids in Brooklyn are rediscovering Hall & Oates, I have no doubt Third Eye Blind will have their revival moment.![]()
But he has declared it, long ago, many times over. How much more obvious can it be than "I Can Have Both"? He has admitted to having relationships with both sexes, and Marr said the same about him in '84. In a lengthy i-D interview in 2005, he asked the journalist to cut out certain material involving "boyfriends and sex". Why would he do that if it wasn't coyness? And that's without getting into a discussion concerning the decades of homoerotic imagery on his record sleeves, his own Arse'n'All pictures, the innuendo in his lyrics and all the rest of it. I understand Morrissey's desire to keep his private life to himself, but I really can't see a shred of "mystery" remaining when it comes to his sexuality. He's had it virtually plastered on his forehead since "Handsome Devil". He must find it hysterical that the fans are still 'discussing' the obvious, all these years later. Refusing to put a label on his sexuality was a PR masterstroke.
"What about sexual... relationships?
"I don't have relationships at all. It's out of the question."
Why?
"Partly because I was always attracted to men or women who were never attracted to me. And I was never attracted to women or men who were attracted to me. So that's the problem. I've never met the right person." - Morrissey, "The Face", 1990.
'One of my physical encounters was with a man. That was 10 years ago. It was just a very brief, absurd and amusing moment" - Observer, 1992.
