Hi... I'm counting on you people!

In short... coming from the north to London for the 2 nights at Royal Albert Hall...

Can anyone POSSIBLY recommend a hotel close to Royal Albert Hall whilst still being under £50 a night? Is this possible in london?

Thanks anyone.

http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/london-south-west.html lots of hotels and guesthouses that are near the rah, quite a few of which are quite cheap. don't bother with the stuart hotel, though. they have let me down, and now i have to look for another hotel.

update - i'm now in the west cromwell hotel for two nights, costing a total of £70.

i'm not entirely sure why i told you that.

I saw an advert in 'The Guardian' today:

BURNING THE MIDNIGHT OIL?

LSE residences offer B&B in 5 locations throughout Central London with single rooms from only £25pppn

IDEAL AFTER GIGS, CLUBS etc

020 7955 7575

It's student halls of residence so expect your room already furnished with poster of Morrissey wearing blouse, spectacles and holding gladioli

Sorry about the Bowie-esque joke. Could not resist...

But I'm sure it doesn't have a private bathroom. Not for that price in London.

the website says that all rooms have en suite toilet and shower facilities.
