Default The Smiths - This Charming Man ( New York dance remix [ minus handclaps])

Having a lazy day so thought I would try some more home-mixing...

I'd always disliked those dated-sounding handclaps in the extended "TCM" version, so got rid of them ( and did that rather seamlessly, though it's not my place to say it)...http://www.filefactory.com/file/5b9v..._handclaps_mp3

If you delete an extra 377 samples before the edit, it will be more seemless.

I'm not sure I understand what this means ?

Oh , hang on ... no, wait a minute...

Yes, I'm certain I don't understand what this means . You don't like "This Charming Man" ? You don't like the "New York dance remix" ? You don't like my minor editing of the "New York dance remix" ? Or you do ?

I guess the comment falls into the "Other" category...

I mean that your edit is done so that the bit with the guitar comes in slightly late, by a very tiny fraction of a second but enough to notice. If you delete the 377 samples immediately before the join (samples is the smallest unit of time in Audacity) then the guitar will come in exactly on the beat.

My god , what ears you have !

Had a few more listens but I honestly can't hear any lateness in the guitar's arrival at the 3.09 minute mark.

Regardless, thanks for the input ( oh , and for clarifying the earlier remark) ...
