So...Kristeen Young (almost universally hated and viewed as a talentless, self-important ignoramus) can get 83 posts in a thread about a comment she made, but a thread about Alain Whyte's birthday (the man who wrote more hit singles for Morrissey than anyone else, wrote the majority of his best solo material, and is by far the best guitarist he's had in his solo career) can only get 4 posts?

I bet when Moz releases the new album Alain will still be on it .....getting credit for song writing (Like the Years of Refusal CD). How does that work ? Does Morrissey have a huge backlog of music from former band mates in a vault some where that he goes back and listens to now and then ?

Perhaps it has more to do with the length of time Alain has been away from the Moz spotlight ( it must be a good five years or so by now ?). After all, no one's making "Happy Birthday, Spike T. Smith" threads.

But,yes, that's hardly a fair comparison. He was a songwriter of some range i.e. from the eastern beats of "Good-Looking Man..." to the intricate fugue of "Southpaw" to all the fun pop singles...
