No Florida? Gee, I wonder why.

Niagara is on sale right now, even though there was no warning. Just a heads up!!

Morrissey New York City dates added
23 June 2012

Due to the instant sell-out of Morrissey's show at Radio City Music Hall, two nights at Terminal 5 in New York City have been added to the schedule.
Morrissey will play Terminal 5 on Friday 12 October, and Saturday 13 October. Tickets for both nights will go on sale on Friday 29 June.

had given up on chicago assuming there weren't any good seats left. just went to ticketmaster out of curiosity and right away got a pit ticket and now i'm out another $100.

Got tickets for Niagara Falls!

I am one ridiculously happy Canuck!

A blind man could have seen this coming.

looks like I'll be at Clear Lake and Lincoln shows - and running into/avoiding at all costs some familiar faces from the days I lived in Texas. Always entertaining. Still contemplating Wichita Falls or Minnesota depending on what seats I can find. Fun tour though love it. Hoping to run into the girl that stood next to me at Santa Fe last year or my always favorite and out of reach dreamgirl aka the purple sweater girl at which point I'll propose to either of them on the spot. Insert at any time 'I hope he plays _______-' boys and girls to keep me amused for at least five minutes.

As an aside, if he adds Tomorrow to the setlist I could say my heart will be less empty....

A question to those who bought tickets see Moz in Portland, ME

I'm trying to buy 2 tickets. It's all the same price since it's GA, but when I look for the best tickets available it says GA2. Are there actually two differente sections to GA? Did anyone get GA1?

Thanks!

This probably won't be too helpful as I'm not sure exactly what it means but i feel like I've bought GA tickets before that have said GA2 and there was no difference. Not sure what the two is for. Two tickets, maybe?

or you could have just bought an orch seat and walked up front like 200 people will do as soon as he goes on

Er, sorry. Not true! If you were at the last Radio City show he did, that was completely impossible, as security were overly brutal and tight. Yes, at many seated shows, it is the norm that everyone rushes the front, but the way the pit was set up at RCMH, it is very difficult. They were even trying their damnedest to keep people in the pit away from the stage, and brutalising some. A lot of people were ejected from the venue for trying to move forward. It's a shitty venue, period.

Thanks for your reply! I'll try to buy one and see if it says GA1.

I got tickets for Niagara Falls, yay! I'm so glad I checked here today, talk about no notice!

Actually for the Niagara Falls show there does appear to be a difference between GA's. (I also tried a few times and got different ones) If you look at the seating chart GA1 is in the center, GA2 is left and GA3 is right. Kinda weird, I have never seen GA sections divided before like this. How would that possibly work? Anyone ever been to the Rapids Theater?

My problem with people spending money with StubHub is not that they are spending the cash - that's theirs to spend. It's that they are keeping these crooks in business. I understand that we all want to get the best seats we can but if you can avoid it, especially if you have a legitimate way to get the same seats, why encourage the scalpers? That's what I don't understand. StubHub is a pain in the butt that keeps real fans from being able to afford tickets. You can defend it all you want, but it really is as simple as that. I would rather not go to any show than pay scalpers, and I am willing to bet the artists agree with me as well.

WAT. Lucky I seem to have randomly picked GA1 then! That whole show has been clusterf*ck city.

"Tickets not on sale, tickets not on sale, can't tell you when tickets are on sale, ticket not on HEY NOW THE TICKETS ARE ON SALE!" Fffffff.

There was plenty of information on the Rapids Theatre website about when/what time the tickets were on sale. So...

Also: I just called Ticketmaster about this GA1, GA2 crap. I was told it's just GA, there's nothing sectioned off. The numbering is for inventory purposes only.

Lucky indeed! I got G2 (I purchased late in the day because who the heck even knew they were on sale, grrr) which I guess is the left side. I looked at pics of the venue and there doesn't appear to be anything separating the 3 GA sections so who knows how it will work, if they are even indeed actually separated. I don't know, confusing, but just happy I'm going! :)

Hey, if it guarantees a front row spot for you and you've got the money to spend - you shouldn't feel bad at all. I didn't see your post as being boastful or anything else. I think we're all just a bit edgy - we had a particularly difficult pre-sale date yesterday, and then today was also nerve racking. I agree with whoever said tickets should be saved for true fans through truetoyou or an official Morrissey fan site (is there one?) One password so it's not so confusing and reserved safely for us and not those who wish to make a large profit, or venues who sell them to non-fans because they're members. It really isn't fair. I don't think Morrissey has any control over that, though. At any rate, I'm happy for you! :)

Thanks. A lot about the whole process of purchasing tickets is stressful and unfair and it is all so unnecessary. Fans should be able to get tickets easily and without having to throw down huge amounts of money for them. But unfortunately, this is not the reality of it. And now with the addition of two shows in my area, I'm going to have to scrounge up money for that too. I just can't see Morrissey so close to me and me not there.
