No Florida? Gee, I wonder why.

Ya right, Niagara Falls, NY? Haha! Niagara Falls, NY only has like 50,000 people in the entire town. But, interestingly enough, it is a border town with CANADA, and only 1 hour or so away from the Greater Toronto Area, which has 5.5 million people. Nice way to get close to Canada's biggest market and to satisfy your Canadian fans without actually stepping foot in Canada, Moz. You win on both fronts. You get their money and love while at the same time dissing their country! Clever little greedy shit, you!

Its also about a 20 minute drive from Buffalo, Its a VERY small venue that will not hold 5.5 million people!

Anyone going to Chicago? Just booked my trip. Staying next door to the Chicago Theatre..

Couldnt get a room next to theater, they were all booked up. Really cool rooftop bar there.

It is a little worrying that their tour schedule is too busy, but I believe they will not cancel a show.
I'm going to visit San Francisco and Davis just to watch Morrissey.

Please, please, please let me get what I want....

I posted a thread last year asking Morrissey to come to Boston. He's playing tonight & I'm going. Thank you Morrissey. I'm much less angry & bitter today than my norm. Also, I'll be looking for you in Londonderry, NH tomorrow.

I too am going coming from the East end of Toronto though. I am dreading driving back though :-( Have a friend I am staying w/ in Oakville, but still...if anyone is interested in trying to "meet" Moz after the show please send me a message.

Re: Boston Show 10/05/12

I'm just gonna say it, the Boston show sucked so bad. I have seen Morrissey about 100 times and always so so good. I'm still in shock. He sang terrible, only was on stage for one hour and then tried to cram his vegetarian agenda down my throat. The audience stood stunned, no dancing no singing and plenty of people left before he mercifully stopped singing. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Sorry Moz truly disappointed...

I am coming as well from Hamilton. I would be willing to wait and meet him. Would before or after the show be best bet?

I am asking hardcore fans who travel and know his habits.

Really hope the A.C. show

consists of different songs being the last of the U.S. shows. Really enjoyed my time in N.Y. Hands down some of the best shows I've seen in a while and at the same time introducing my fiance to Morrissey...and she's lovin it!

That is all.

All dates postponed??

I hate to be the bearer of bad news- but I saw this on Facebook just a few minutes ago.
From c3 concerts, who is presenting the Beaumont, TX show I was planning on attending.

Update: Now on TTY:

Morrissey US Tour dates are postponed
All remaining dates on the current US Tour have been postponed – but not cancelled – as Morrissey has returned to England where his mother has been hospitalized and is unwell. Due to issues with his mother’s health, Morrissey will need to remain by her side during this difficult period.

Those who have already purchased tickets for all upcoming dates are highly encouraged to hold on to their tickets and look out for the rescheduled dates. The new dates will be announced shortly.

Morrissey would like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience as the shows are being prepared for a swift reschedule.

Re: All dates postponed??

Just got back to the UK from Chicago. Gutted to say the least that the gig was cancelled. I had my suspicions when I went to have a look at the Theatre on Thursday and there was nothing to suggest Morrissey was playing. Heard from a friend it was postponed shortly after when I was sitting in a bar, but thought he was winding me up. So checked with the box office to confirm the bad news. Gig should be rescheduled for some time in January, but I very much doubt I can justify going back so soon due to money. Anyway, get well soon, Morrissey's mum.
