Default The Queen Is Dead Vinyl

    Hello everyone,

Next Month Morrissey is coming to preform in my city. As a fan I got all the CD's and some of the singles but not even one vinyl. I'll try to catch Morrissey here and I'm dreaming of having his autograph on "The Queen Is Dead" vinyl. But first I must buy one. I saw that there are few editions of this one, 2012, 2009, and of course 1986. I would like to know if there is any different from outside between the editions?

Is your question is about the track listing?

Track listing of the album of later releases are exactly the same (do not have bonus tracks) as original 1986 release.

Actually I'm interested in the cover quality... do you Know which one is the most aesthetic?

And can you recommended me from which site it's the best to order so they wrapping it well that the vinyl won't damage, even a bit, during the shipment?

    Thank you

Other than the Japanese release of, "The Queen Is Dead", with the obi, there's no difference to the outside jacket. The best if luck getting Morrissey to sign it. From the word round the camp fire, that's a no-way. Moz may ask you, Who are The Smiths?" Better luck carrying a Tormentors, or Refusal, or better yet Quarry about. You may get lucky and get an audition to be his new drummer? Maybe a wedding proposal? The groups fashion-coordinator? Cheers!

The original 1986 Rough Trade release is the most aesthetic one....

    Good luck, Marcel

I get the feeling you don't know Kewpie ?

Again thanks for the links, however there is NOTHING in there that tells me about the edition I have with the code number quoted.

Unless I am Blind . BUT if you do know Please just tell me ...it would be a lot quicker

The edition you have is the 2012 remaster the code tallies with the cd remasters as well. "The Queen Is Dead " and "Frankly"

are notably better sounding on the vinyl, compared to the cd
