Default Morrissey back on the wall at Afflecks Palace

After the original mosaics were taken down a few years ago when ownership of Afflecks Palace changed (and the building became known as simply ''Afflecks''. Mark Kennedy has now produced a few more murals to adorn the walls of the building.

As can be seen on the top left hand mural, Morrissey is in the top left, next to Guy Garvey.

The middle picture on the MEN link also has the Meat Is Murder soldier in the top left hand corner

Great to see Morrissey back in the windows at Afflecks - does anyone know where the originals are these days? Did Mark Kennedy keep them or sell them?

Some more info and photos http://www.afflecks.com/blog/

I see from http://markkennedy.co.uk/ that there is a mosaic ofViva Hate casette as well - click on 'clients and commissions' and 'Morrisey' (not my typo) to see it - it's in flash so I can't capture it, here is a screen grab

Dave, as far as I know they are in storage somewhere in a mill in Ancoats.
There was a Frank Sidebottom even on recently and mosaic of Frank was on display in Timperley library. So they have definitely not been sold.

Good win for Town on Saturday by the way

I wonder how much Mark wants for them?

The mosaic of Frank Sidebottom is in Timperley Community Centre not the library, I have occasional meetings there and it's great to see him in there

And yes, Town result was fan bloody tactic! Can't wait for next season - Bolton, Birmingham, Barnsley, Blackburn, Derby, Forrest, Hull.....LEEDS!!!!! bring em on!

    Dave

Ps - seeing as though JJ appears to be a regular visitor to these parts, is there any chance of his ban being lifted?

The originals are owned by the woman who owned Afflecks Palace. Whose name I've forgotten.

He is neither shy, nor retiring - and these days he is a daily visitor and poster (some of which have been useful) ... which makes a nonsense of any ban. At least if he came back as a fully fledged member than he'd be able to send and receive messages and others would be able to search for his posts.

Ha ha!! No idea where that ''retired'' tag came from (though I have a very good idea where

I have no idea if I am banned or not Dave, and I have no intention of asking. Happy to remain as I am currently, just able to post as and when I wish.
