If someone who is going out with Tony Visconti can't manoeuvre her way to getting a recording contract, who can? I find Kristeen's music painful but I'm sure she doesn't have Morrissey's lofty standards - surely a small indie label will sign her eventually.

My wife is friend's with her on facebook - and she posts some Morrissey pics sometimes too. She has a show in June she said between Morrissey's legs or something. That was funny.

I really can't stand her either, but this is true, there isn't any reason why she couldn't. That was the weird thing about Doll + The Kicks I found, I really liked them, they got great exposure touring with Moz, yet couldn't land a deal. So you gotta wonder whether Moz is teaching them to turn their nose up at deals if they dislike the record exec's tie or something.

I don't think Doll & the Kicks would turn their nose up at any sort of deal - they disbanded last year because they've given up on "making it", so I can't imagine the offers were flooding in. It's a shame, I hope it still happens for them. I loved their album.
