Default Bronski Beat with Marc Almond – I Feel Love (UK 10″)

In 1985, Bronski Beat joined up with Marc Almond to record a version of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love”. The full version was actually a medley, also incorporating snippets of Summer’s “Love to Love You Baby” and John Leyton’s “Johnny Remember Me”. It was a success, reaching #3 in the UK, equalling the chart achievement of “Smalltown Boy”. Although the original had been one of Marc Almond’s all-time favourite songs, he had never read the lyrics and thus incorrectly sang “What’ll it be, what’ll it be, you and me” instead of “Falling free, falling free, falling free”.
“I Feel Love (Medley)” peaked at #3 in Ireland and at #21 on the Belgian VRT Top 30. On the U.S. Hot Dance Singles Sales, the single reached #50.

Please, don't download any music from the website mentioned in the previous post (burningtheground.net). I downloaded a song, and then was unable to delete the file from my computer. In fact, I could not even move it to an external drive. I had to install File Assassin (a program that deletes malware files), and use it to get rid of the file. BTW, I run Norton Anti-Virus, Microsoft Security Essentials, and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and none of those stopped the music file from downloading.
All I ask of you is one thing that you'll never do...

Since I posted the link, I thought I should reply.
burningtheground.net is not my website, I do not know who runs it or anything about it other than what is on their page/blog/etc...it is just a site I came across that had some interesting music and I thought some people on here may be interested in as well.
Of the few things that I have tried out from that site, I never had a problem deleting the files after giving them a listen, even the above Bronski Beat one.
I am not defending the site or disputing what Sal has posted.
I guess when downloading anythign form the nets..."buyer" beware.

Hi Seeker, would you able to reduce the size of sleeve, please?

    Thank you very much.

It was a cut and paste from the original site, so I just deleted the image.

Fair enough. It could be that the stars were not aligned properly when I downloaded it. But that sort of thing has never happened to me before. Luckily, no harm done.

Just popping in--not related to that site, by the way--to note that you really, really shouldn't run both MSE and Norton AV. Two anti-virus programs at once is a big no-no, and will cause more problems than it prevents.

Similarly, an un-opened file cannot be rendered "un-deletable" by simple download--something else was going on there (the file may have been open in the browser/program downloading the file).

However, if it had been opened, it would still be extremely difficult for non-executable files (MP3, FLAC, TXT, etc) to cause this issue. If the file were still open, perhaps "caught" in a program that failed to close completely, this would result. Non-executable items will only be opened by the program an operating system associates the file extension with, so an executable opened as, for example, an MP3 would not cause any issues (it would simply not play, because it would not contain audio data). Compressed archives can, of course, contain malicious executables, but these, too, would have to be opened as executables before any maliciousness would occur.

If you've ever found yourself with maliciousness without knowingly opening anything malicious, it was likely:
    1) an installation buried in an intentional installation
    2) installed by a script within a web-page (which can direct an executable to download and run!)

And, further, if none of the above-mentioned programs caught on to the presence of a malicious file, there's something truly peculiar occurring.

In short: highly unlikely this was the result of infection from the file itself--though without witnessing the exact occurrence of course I can't be completely certain, of course.

(still, this link helped me confirm that the '96 issue of The Age of Consent indeed carries the "Cake Mix" from this 10" which is how I got here!)
