Default Norman Cook on what it would take to reform the Housemartins

Inteviewed by Colin Patterson on Radio 5 Live this morning on the occasion of the first gig at Brighton's new stadium:

"The Smiths said they would get back together if the Queen abdicated; well, The Housmartins will get back together when The Smiths refrorm."

Johnny said The Smiths would reform if Cameron / coalition resigned, not the Queen.

Would love to see a Housemartins reunion...... saw them at Manchester's International 2 in 1986. Great band.

Not sure where you are from Anonymous (Saudi Arabia perhaps?), but round here people get released from prison after serving their time... Hugh was sent down for attacking a business partner (or ex-business partner) with an axe in 1993 http://www.uglynorth.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/hugh.htm That's nearly 20 years ago - he's been out for 16 years

    Jools Holland: "Knock Knock!"
    Morrissey: "I'm not in!"
    Jools: "Oh, come on."
Morrissey: "I refuse to open the door."
