I have a chihuahua who is my best friend and little shadow.His name is Steven(guess who he`s named after).My mom has two other chihuahua`s.who I love.And we have two parakeet`s named Daisy and Valdar my niece and nephew named the parakeet`s.I have pics of them but not on the computer. We used to have a cat too but she passed away this year

Thanks all for posting. Pictures of family animals - there is something so quietly sad and involving about these shots, especially the RIP versions. It's strange - in years past , I read ethology/zoology textbooks and happily enough but, these days, I can't look at this type of photo ( or wildlife documentaries) without feeling faintly teary-eyed.
Maybe it's middle-age creeping up on me...
