Same here, although I had also seem The Smiths five years earlier. As I remember, that gig was advertised as the first gig of his first solo tour. We all bought our tickets and then he went and added the Irish and Scottish dates beforehand.
Not that he does that kind of thing these days!!!

That's it. Thanks. Kind of a tweener area betwixt San Diego and Los Angeles. I remember it as Friday, May 31, though. My mind is going. There is no question about it.
