Default Pulp We Love Life Petition

Some Pulp fans have got together to try and get a deluxe edition of their final album, We Love Life, released. It was unfairly overlooked on first release in 2002 and the band recorded many songs that never made it onto the final album due to it's fairly long gestation period. Pulp's previous three Island albums have all been given the deluxe treatement and are withiout exception brilliant products and I see no reason why a work that is equal in quality to their three more famnous statements, His 'N' Hers, Different Class and This Is Hardcore, should be neglected in this way.

Er, I don't think it is remotely equal to its three famous predecessors ( or to Separations for that matter), but a deluxe version, why not?

while not quite as good as "this is hardcore" , it IS a brilliant album if only for Wickerman ! Jarvis Cocker is lyrically equal in my eyes to Moz !!

I agree, although they can't be compared directly, they are both absolutely brilliant lyricists. There was a lot of very good material demoed for WLL that wasn't included on the final album so a deluxe edition would be really worthwhile. Personally I prefer WLL to TIH.
