Default Kill Uncle - Title Track

I know the title track for KILL UNCLE was scrapped, but does anyone know if it actually exists as a bootleg? The lyrics are awesome. I have heard it made it to demo tape or something. Anyone have?

I've never heard it and it definitely has never been made available here or on any kind of widely circulated bootleg. It's a real song though; according to Simon Goddard by way of Andrew Paresi (Mozipedia page 209)...it was a finished demo, vocal included, until Morrissey scrapped all but the title.

Where did you see the lyrics?

Anyway, I'm sure that one day it will surface as a bonus track when he reissues Years of Refusal.

What a bummer. I really want/need to hear it. The lyrics were found here, on a post from 2004:

    http://www.morrissey-solo.com/thread...-made-it-to-LP

"Oooh uncle, i've got a present for you
and it's not the kind you probably want
Oooh uncle, when pepole mention you
it makes me want to hit you with something blunt

and even though freud was almost right
(as i said to mother in bed last night)
its you not daddy that i want to fight
because you want to take her away
    (away-ahay-hay-hay)

    and i just

    Want to kill you uncle,
take your pick from all my kitchen knives
Oh I want to kill you uncle
don't you know its wrong to have two wives?

Oh you may think i'm just haveing some fun
but i've been wanting to do this since nineteen ninety one
so meet me on the front lawn when you've finally done
with your cup of tea and your vile iced bun

oh i just want what's naturally mine
i just want what's rightfuly mine
and even though freud was almost right
as i said to mother in bed last night

its you not daddy that i want to fight
because you want to take her away"

The fact that these lyrics suck, yet supposedly were written when Morrissey was unquestionably in his poetic prime, and given the iffy -at best- "source" leads me to believe that these are about likely to have been written by Morrissey as they were to have been written by Gordon from Sesame Street.

Also, the song would have to have been written in 1990; yet there's a reference to 1991, which a clueless attention seeking dumbass would have overlooked whilst inventing fake retroactive lyrics.

Besides, the message of the lyrics here does not jibe with what Andrew Paresi said the song was about, which is basically killing a rich relative to get at his cash.

I dunno. I'm not going to say that they sound like Morrissey lyrics, but I personally do like them.

WOW those are some awful lyrics, they would have been embarassing for Morrissey in 2012, never mind 1990. If he wrote that, I will happily eat my hat.
    yes, you're older now
    and you're a clever swine
but they were the only ones who ever stood by you

I found them rather funny, althought I doubt Morrissey wrote them.

I think the lyrics are kinda funny.

And I much prefer them to "People are the Same..."!

I'd prefer prison rape to "People Are The Same Everywhere".

    Really?

Just out of curiosity, how much do you like People Are The Same Everywhere?

I think the real question here is how much do I like prison rape.

Sure, but I was trying to approach the question from an alternative angle. Y'know, out of sensitivity towards your victims.

Yes, I'm sure victims of prison rape are very sensitive. Especially when they try to sit.

If they are the real lyrics, then I'm a banana.
