SINGER Morrissey has waded into the Falklands feud declaring to his fans in Argentina that the Islands belong to them.

The ex-Smiths frontman, 52, was greeted by wild cheers as he made the controversial remarks at a gig in the city of Cordoba.
He then amazingly said that all Brits know they are not ours too.
Calling them by their Argentine name he declared at the concert on Thursday: "You know of course the Malvinas Islands.
"Everybody knows they belong to Argentina.
"So please do not blame the British people we know the islands belong to you."

Disgusted Brits took to Twitter to vent their anger yesterday.
Morrissey follows in the footsteps of Pink Floyd legend Roger Waters and Hollywood actor Sean Penn to speak out over the islands.
Argentinians have stepped up calls for sovereignty ahead of the 30th anniversary of the war in April.
In the 1982 conflict 255 Brits lost their lives.
Richard Clark tweeted: "Morrissey now joining the band of #t**ts saying the Falklands belong to Argentina.
Angry Sabine Maltby posted: "Morrissey needs to read up on history though as the Falklands are not Argentinian."
Hostilities have been growing between Britain and Argentina for months.
They are angry Prince William is posted there as an RAF rescue pilot.
Two Brit ships were banned from the port of Ushuaia on Monday.
Argentina has also threatened to stop buying British goods.
Morrissey - who is on a South American tour - was unavailable for comment.
