Wow, against all expectations on my part, this works. I wonder how the creator managed to get his/her hands on the vocal tracks for This Charming Man.

I agree that it works, sounds great.

For what it is worth, it is also on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEuCcmUmURA and easy to convert to MP3 if you want it http://www.youtube-mp3.org/#v=jEuCcmUmURA

    Jools Holland: "Knock Knock!"
    Morrissey: "I'm not in!"
    Jools: "Oh, come on."
Morrissey: "I refuse to open the door."

It's just lovely. Even the shrieks sound more pained and desperate against this new instrumentation.

    Blown away.

Best mashup by a mile was Go Home Production's How Soon Is Independence. Utterly brilliant. Then for legal reasons, they had to remove it. Hey ho.

    *Edit* oh wait, it's here...

Looks like I'm the only one to think that it's so wrong. Video Games is a song that I've been listening to a lot lately and this mashup sounds so out of tune and out of rythm for me.

This one does work though. Same era, similar musical style.
And I heard so many things I failed to understand at all

It has to be from a Rock Band isolation. Whether he actually got his hands on the decrypted MOGG file, or whether it was ripped manually, is the question. I believe you can get isolations by recording the speaker output of the console, and plugging in bass, guitar and drum controllers and then play no notes.

I just have to get this multitrack!

That Lana has just ruined This Charming Man....Woweee, the Housemartins mash up is amazing! I've listened to it a few times and still manages to impress me

I think Marr should have joined the Housemartins for a laugh

Speaking of mash-ups, this one came off a little awkwardly, though still a lot of fun.

    Smiths vs. Morrissey!
