eBay is currently listing for sale a copy of the Australian 'The World Won't Listen' double LP. I already have a copy; but I'm guessing some of you will be keen to check out the listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/Smiths-World...41415848468421

"This Rough Trade Australia release is extremely rare and a very desirable Smiths collectable".....
A bit overpriced, I suppose....Just a bit
Cheers Moz
what's so special about it?
it's just some second-rate amended variant of a pre-existing comp album looking to rememdy an age-old complaint amongst Smiths fans.
It cracks me up how some of these labels/bootleggers/sellers will try to polish a turd in the hopes it will shine like gold. This "Australian version" has never had any value or merit to me or a lot of other Smiths diehards and I wouldn't pay $30 for it, let alone $130

No simple amended version, this double LP included tracks from Louder Than Bombs which had not yet been released in Australasia at this point in time. We weren't always so lucky, record-wise, Down Under in the 1980s!
Hmmm.. King Bee Records in Wilbraham Road, Chorlton vicinity in Manchester has this record for about 45GBP. ask for Mike... Some eBayers certainly have gotten a tad greedy or... "Ones mans trash is another's treasure"![]()
