Do you owe fellow Morrissey fans money for tickets that they paid for, that they gave to you in good faith - that you would repay that sum of money at some point once you got home?
I'm talking about gigs that took place in July...... have you repaid those fellow Morrissey fans that gave you the tickets? (I'm referring to Hop Farm and Plymouth)

Two of the other commenters over there are calling for the post above to be censored. I'd find it incriminating if the allegations were deleted instead of responded to.

I thought this breaking story at AllYouNeedIsMorrissey.com most appropriately belonged in the main section of this forum, as it relates to the controversies about Morrissey fan sites and who runs them -- issues Morrissey and his band raised this year.

And it probably would've been better in, at least, Off Topic.

But, out of respect to the honest man who runs Morrissey-Solo, and because these are just allegations, I decided to place it in the Pigsty.

Best as I can tell, what happened in that thread is this. Jukebox Jury posted because he felt he had no other recourse, having exhausted all other avenues. A couple of Quiffaa's best online friends quickly jumped on the thread to demand it be brushed under the rug. It should be deleted immediately, they said. It was somehow "wrong" to air these issues in public, even though the alleged victims were apparently left with no other option and a public airing was probably the only way left to get their money back. The thread already has nearly 700 views, but almost everyone is afraid to comment in it.

Those two people call themselves "Scarlet Ibis" and "Je Suis Julie". They, along with Quiffaa, used to post thousands of messages on Morrissey-Solo, almost exclusively in the "Frink" thread. The "Frink" thread is where creepy worshippers of Morrissey spend their lives posting pictures of Morrissey that they masturbate to.

This web site brought these "Frinkers" together, but it's an "evil" web site because it has freedom of speech and sometimes things Morrissey and Boz Boorer don't like (such as opinions on a new song -- which is the reason Boz Boorer flipped out) get posted.

A couple of other folks, outside of those two "Frinkers", tried to offer Jukebox Jury some support, but they had to start each post with a line like, "Saying this is probably not going to make me particularly popular....." To which Scarlet Ibis insisted that the public airing about a theft after 6 months of being spun and ignored by Quiffaa is worse than the theft itself. Come again?

Jukebox Jury was then pressured to censor his own postings.

Hopefully, though, the public airing will resolve the matter.

Sadly, Morrissey encourages this sort of hero worship, just as he encourages the owner of the mostly worthless True-To-You site to literally waste her life and her family fortune in worship of him. A better man would advise such people that that level of hero worship well into adulthood is unhealthy, but it feeds Morrissey's ego and he's stated many times how selfish he is.

And now the message has been sent. If you create a web site you'd better be as worshipful as Julia, and hostile to free speech, or you might have lawyers threatening you with frivolous lawsuits and security thugs escorting you out of venues and telling you you've been banned for life.

Instead we should have Boz Boorer endorsed sites, run by pathetically worshipful "Frinkers" who censor anything they deem "disrespectful" to Morrissey while they apparently steal money from fellow fans. Because how can we tolerate a "fan" posting that "The Kid's A Looker" isn't the greatest song of the 21st century?

Thanks for your reply. Indeed it reads like the there is a silent feeling of 'speak and be damned by the more popular kids' which seems to be the definition of bullying.

What a funny little site. I hope they get their money returned.

(Of the 700+ views I suspect that the majority comes from users from here. Nosy sods. )

While it's no surprise I'm not a fan of Quiffaa's, I'm more impressed with JJ's display of solidarity for his friends. I find that admirable.

While I have no use for Quifaa or the AllYouNeedIsMorrissey site, publicly posting this kind of hearsay is wrong. Human nature, for lack of a better term, is to believe the worst for the sake of excitement, with or without substantiation.

I'd highly doubt that anyone here has any proof that these rumors are true, much less a stake in the outcome. Therefore, continuing this discussion is beneath us.

This is a matter between Quifaa and the involved parties; it's personal business that should not be bandied about on a web forum like bed-hopping gossip in a hair salon.

Quiffaa went on and on about how this site was evil because it's owned by someone who loves freedom of speech and that's "disrespectful" because Morrissey can't handle anything but complete hero worship. She wanted everyone to flock to her crap site where it's a bunch of rules about what you're not allowed to say, plus a gigantic banner of Morrissey and a few boring threads filled with those pathetic creatures of Morrissey's fanbase who call themselves "frinkers". And she gets on her high horse about her holier than thou Quaker cult.

Well, either she has or she hasn't paid people back for the tickets. If she has, then she's a victim of a massive defamation campaign led by Jukebox Jury. If she hasn't, and she's been non-responsive to their inquiries for 6 full months, then she's a piece of shit.
