Default Barbarism Begins At Home: Incomplete B-Sides Vol. One

    anyone see this yet?

    http://www.discogs.com/Smiths-Barbar.../master/371654

Featuring child murderer John Wayne Gacy on the cover (charming).
Released by (fittingly enough) Torture Tunes. Nice tracklisting with some b-sides all
in one place, but disgusting artwork.

Good spot. I would guess it's just some of the rarer B sides, rather than anything new though. Perhaps the version of Unloveable? There's only one official version, right?

Probably nothing new on this, I'm just appalled with the artwork though.
Seriously, what does this scumbag have to do with The Smiths? Nada.
I would love to hear the thought process on creating some of these boots.

Old thread, I know, but is the concept of the cover really that difficult to grasp?

Tasteful or not, it fits with the idea of the song it was named after perfectly... People (namely children) are the products of their abusive environment. There's really no mystery there... and besides, is it really such a crime for unofficial/bootleg release packaging to be anything but "appalling"? I almost thought it was a rule that they had to be, particularly in the case of The Smiths:

Anyway, does anyone know if all the pink copies have no sticker on the front? I noticed the more common black vinyl has a small circular sticker saying "black vinyl" on the front, but the photos of the pink vers. do not show one...
    Sister, I'm a pissant.

I just got a copy of this in the post today

mine has the big pink sticker down the left side of the jacket, but nothing on the packaging stating it's the black vinyl. I looked it up online and copies of this without the sticker specifying black vinyl are the pink vinyl

so I'm holding in my hands the copy of this bootleg on pink vinyl, and the copy I ordered on black vinyl should be here any day now
