Oh dear, this site is in desperate need of of severe moderation or it will drown in this shitstorm.
Free speech is soooo great, isnt it David?
Excellent sound tonight I think. One of the best I have ever witnessed in a Moz gig.
This Charming Man out/First of the gang encore/I want the one once again first song. Otherwise setlist close to previous gigs.
Moz and band in good form. The first half of the show (after Speedway) had many new and slower songs. The crowd didn't get too excited I think. Second half was certainly much more enthusiastic with all the hits played on this tour.
"Scandinavia" was played once again.
Moz seemed to enjoy Berlin once again. Just made a statement that there are too many McDonalds in the city (band was once again wearing the Mc-shirts).
Some more banters (from my memory):
I have been to many places (mentions German cities' names) and I've realised "People are the same everywhere" (obviously followed by the song).
Did sing "why do you come here" from Suedehead before the encore.
"My German is quiet fluent... but not tonight"
When Boz started "Irish blood English heart" a bit early he said something like "Boz, your first".
I missed a bit of the energy of previous tours. Moz is certainly not "dancing" and moving around that much even compared to the Tour of Refusal. Something I realised from footage of this tour already.
In the end of the day; good gig, even though not the best one.
Perfect place for Moz to play. He's fast become an unintentional parody of Hitler.
Freedom of speech?
Hehehehehehe this site is shit, so shit! Why waste time posting on here if you hate the site and David so much....also where the fucks all the personal reviews and decent posts about morrissey and the shows got to! Fucking sort it out!!! You daft bastards
Great. Thanks for the clip and the review!!! Glad the weather held out for you. I missed it unfortunately due to work commitments. Grrrrr. Was it possible to gauge how many people were there. What were the standout songs?
One look at this thread should be enough to convince David that the site needs to change. Only unbelievable pigheadedness could prevent him from doing so.
Hi Tom just posted it from youtube sorry i wasnt there mate (UK here) shall post more if i find!
The weather was excellent. A nice summer evening not too hot.
,
Well recieved were the obvious one I think: Everyday is like Sunday, There is a light, Irish blood. First of the gang...
I was quiet moved to hear: I know it's over, although I didn't cry...
It wasn't sold out I think. Estimate 7,000 to 8,000 people.
morrissey, more dancing please!
THis is fucking stupid. One post out of 38 that bears any relevance to the Berlin show review. At 23:00hrs BST on the day of the gig. Sort it fucking out
Sleepy set in my opinion. However venue was magnificent. Some sort of castle with some major significance I am sure. Highlight for me was Fatty near the beginning. We got I Know It's Over, Meat is Murder. Meh all a bit Zzz I reckon. Crowd was polite yet somewhat sedate. Accordingly, so was Moz. Seemed to be a short set and only one brief encore. Some pretty valiant attempts at invasions given stage was so high.
I really like the new song, something about Scandinavia. Enjoy German women even moreso. So voluptuous and attractive. very bosomy. Sorry for lack of info, fans. Got quite drunk. Ended up in the next town over listening to New Order with two blokes who spoke no english but ate all my spinach pizza and let me pay for their beer.
NIGHT!
