nobody loves U.S

**Yawn**

At first this was cute but now I just find you boring.. I mean someone who goes out of thier way just to get an e-mail that says Usstinks@etc... I suspect your that twit URBAN who use to come around and probally still does I just don't visit as much anymore.. You spout off the same anti-american dribble he does.. You don't like the US well then you don't have to visit.. You want to judge the US citizens by what you see on TV well then your just as narrowed minded.. I suspect you don't know what thing about politics because of your mindless rantings.."witch trials this and fundametalist that" what in the hell do you think the people who started this country were trying to get away from when the left England? So go back to your stats and your greater then though attitude.. and try talking to me when you can come up with your own thoughts.

and before your try to be all witty why don't you try telling me why you hate america... leave your stats and your ugly this and that .. what has america and it's citizens done to you to affect your life.. how have we kept you down?

Re: Would you like pommes frites with that?

If it's like England, then I doubt I would.
And on the foreign language front - you seem to be doing OK¿ Is the U.S. really the richest country in the world? (No, that's¿ not sarcasm, just plain ignorance on my part. Not that I¿ couldn't have guessed... I obviously don't pay much attention to¿ global matters, a horrifyingly "american" thing of¿ mine, I'm working on it).¿ You know, I live in a nice state called Washington. It rains a¿ lot, I've heard it's kind of like England, you might like it. My¿ philosophy on this country and on others is that we have¿ problems, other countries have problems, they just lie in¿ varying areas. I don't care to discuss it beyond that. Except,¿ one thing that really chaps my hide about the states, is our¿ public schools. That's a long story in itself but one of the¿ most deplorable things (other than property taxes being the¿ basis for whether or not people get a quality education -¿ f@cking brilliant veiled oppression) is the fact that many¿ schools don't require we learn foreign language at all. What is¿ that all about?¿ -Gothy

Re: **Yawn**

Thats a big responce for someone who's bored. Re: Oh, and MacDonalds

oh, its sad that youre so closeminded. And even more sadder that you must be this bored to say all this nonsense and to pick a fight..

Re: Oh, and MacDonalds

> Thats an explanation, not a justification

An explanation was all it was meant to be. You asked how, albeit sarcastically, and I told you.

Obviously I cannot justify the way America is run no more then I can justify why England still lives in the fairy tale land of Kings and Queens. The great majority of the Queens subjects are struggling paupers don't you know.

Re: I love Shakespeare

Very good, you keep a Shakespeare reader on your desk.

Dont' back down now... thats not the answer to my question . You wouldn't come at america like that unless.. i mean we forgot our roots.. thats a cop out what do you care if you live in another country?

Re: Brit Sitcoms

> .> Not to mention the poor quality of so many OTHER¿ Don't knock ALL non US TV. Oh I agree, AB FAB is just wonderful.. Fawlty Towers... etc. I'm just knocking lots of different @#!!! you can see over there and in other countries. And especially the news... it's producsed terribly in so many places.

LOL!!!
This is exactly what I'm saying... I think people just need to get out more. The whole WORLD is a majority of stupid people. Dear KGeorge can recite the literacy levels of every country, but it matters little, America has only been here for two hundred years really. Our government is still a child. But besides, I've been many many places and been completely thrilled with all of them (even some of the American cities in the South). And if you WANT to walk around hating everything, and thinking people are stupid, and judging them cause you believe you have more worth, than you're just as dumb as they are. And even more terrible, you're going to miss out on a lot of things. I think I see this in lots of Morrissey fans, they have the most morose sense of existence, and refuse to enjoy anything. That will get you no where in life, and only shows your total lack of humility. People are more or less subjects of their environments, but people aren't all that different. It's either, pour the milk in first, or pour the tea in, THEN the milk.

Re: **Yawn**

care because America is the most powerful country in the world, and also the most influential - I just find it incredible how you ignore all your most blindingly obvious faults - Doesn't it concern you that you have 4% illiteracy? The solution is very easy - spend more of your incredible wealth and resorces on educating the children in your country. The problem is that you have a notion of capitalism and free market economics driven into from day zero such that the idea that everyone has a right to a decent education independently of the incomes of the childrens parents is seen as communistic or something.
I saw a report on homelessness in the US, and it was absolutly unbelievable - unemployed families with children were being forced to go to soup kitchens - why not simply accept that a percentage of the population will inevitably have to be unemployed as a function of the economy. In Europe everyone is entitled to benefits as long as they are out of work, not just for a fixed length of time - the idea that the children of families should suffer as a result of parents misfortune is an abomination. Why not simply accept that someone's going to be unemployed - the only people who benefit from unemployment are the employed - because thay get all the work ( or you could share the work out more fairly ) - I saw an interview with some US politian during this same report who said "Why should taxpayers support people who aren't working?" - the most moronic statement I have ever heard - you support them because you are taking more than your fair share of the availiable work - you could share it out better if your not willing to pay.

God Save The Queen ( I mean it ma'am )

But you CAN justify the way the US is run - it's a democracy.
It's interesting how none of the retaliations here have any substance - lets hear some FACTS, not just "you smell like poo" type comments.¿ An explanation was all it was meant to be.

What about the fact that i am forced to pay taxes for people who get the bright idrea that the more kids they have the more money they get so then they don't have to get jobs.. Well thats not how this country works.. I see help wanted signs all over the problem is and the cop out is.. "well I can't support myself on minimum wage".. well you can't support yourself on nothing either..people want to have jobs that pay 15.00 an hour even when they are under qualified. The fact is I use to believe all that socialist crap about distrubition of wealth and what not.. Untill 1 day I was standing in line buying Ramen and cheap ass soda where as the person in front of me was buying steaks, hamburgers, beer and all this nice stuff and paying for it with food stamps and then taking it out to they're 96 ford explorer(this was in 1996) and I had a car that hardly ran.. a 79 at that.. I need major dental work done right now.. and if i lived in canada it would be fixed.. but all well thats the nature of the beast I enjoy other things that Canada does not have. We don't need more Govt. control we need more people taking responsibilty for thier actions.. Yeah there are people who need help in thier time of need but unfortunatly there are more people who abuse it and like I said if it takes you more then a year to find employment then there's something wrong with the person.

The right to work - the right to be exploited.

You've been socially conditioned by your government - I really did think that people who visited this site were more radical than that - you've been brainwashed into a right wing point of view. So what if someone else doesn't work, and chooses to live off benefit money? Why should someone have to spend 8 hours a day doing some mindless, monotonous, soul destroying, inhuman, repetitve task. My philosophy is that work=slavery - its the opposite of being alive.

The Dream Is Alive In Merry Old England

> I really¿ did think that people who visited this site were more radical¿ than that

And I thought Brits were more realistic!¿ - you've been brainwashed into a right wing point of¿ view.

What a bizarre and misguided statement.. Maybe your perception of the "right wing" is askewed from under the murky, sunless sky.. Thinking others should be responsible is not synonymous with right wing thinking.. being wealthy and caring about protecting your money, condemning gay people, and being smug is to be "right wing" in America¿ So what if someone else doesn't work, and chooses to live¿ off benefit money? Why should someone have to spend 8 hours a¿ day doing some mindless, monotonous, soul destroying, inhuman,¿ repetitve task. My philosophy is that work=slavery - its the¿ opposite of being alive.

I hope this is an example of your excellent British wit, or maybe you are exercising bathos, as it seems you have descended from the logical to the absurd. I used to know people like you in high school.. they would preach about resisting entering the work force as we will all become temp wage-slaves, and instead we should fight capitalism, and become socialist. hmmm. Where are they now? I don't think you want to know. Not living the dream, I can tell you that.¿ Shoplifters Unite!!!¿ Is it possible to be an anarchist in America? - they don't¿ provide you with enough room to trancend the system. Is that your plan? I always equated bolstering anarchism with being brain dead.. kind of like a zombie! Hmm...¿ I bet you smoke a pipe and have a nice neat lawn too. Do you¿ call your Dad Sir?
