Hmm, I know what you're saying but I think the concept and writing the words and performing the backing are pretty important too - which appears to have been largely or entirely Pete Wylie. BTW it's a popular misconception that the woman speaking the words is Margi Clarke - as if she's the only Liverpuddlian woman!

There are thousands of religious people (nuns, monks, lay people) who make a choice to be celibate and honour that vow. I'm not saying all people who make the vow honour it, but some do, so you can't say it's not a possible option.
And there are people that are asexual.
