Deleting threads

Site administrator gave a permission to the moderators to delete spam threads only.

Other forum users do not have access to forum tools to delete threads.

He does not allow the mods to delete threads, you simply stop posting them.
Threads which do not have any reply in next three months they will be archived by site administrator.

but are you allowed to delete threads by banned user even ones which say 'Merry Christmas' and are not offensive in anyway?
It seems a petty when the thread will serve it's purpose and the banned user can not comment further.

Site administrator gave the mods a permission to delete threads posted by banned user Jukebox Jury who keeps re-registering more than 20 times since his banning.
He no longer has a right to make a post / thread in here because this is a private forum.
The forum membership is a privilege, not a right.

You are one of his friends who know his email address / myspace / facebook profile.
You are able to get in touch with him elsewhere.

How many times site administrator has to explain about this particular case?
He already explained it more than ten times since April 2010.
There is nothing you can do to lift his ban because JJ only keeps creating new accounts which only delays lifting his ban.
Site administrator will not review his case until JJ stops creating a new account.

The forum has a simple rule; if a user got banned, he / she has to stay away from the forums a given period (minimum 3 days if a user is given a timeout, usually 12 months).
However, a banned user keeps ignoring the rule and re-register a new account which only delays lifting his / her ban.

Site administrator posted that he found JJ was rather childish, easier running the site without dealing him.

Much easier running the site when he is gone.

At one point JJ actually had changed his title to as 'will never be banned' as I recall. I agree he was a good contributor, too bad he had to act like a child with that one falling out. He actually agreed he should be banned for his actions but so far I have not seen one apology.
