One theory is that he's simply coasting on his ability to campaign so charismatically and has no real substance, and another theory is that he's doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing to get the US into position for the way we allow ourselves to be governed and the amount of privacy we will trade for so-called security, when actually we usually create the enemy ourselves. Example, Osama bin Laden, or the kid in Oregon that the FBI built bombs for.

So it's not even about having faith in Nobama. He tosses a few crumbs to the left so the faithful can believe he really means well, but in fact he's continuing the same policies as Bush, including the very shady dealings with the Guantanamo Bay prisoners. He said he would close it. He didn't say he was going to pay tiny nations to put them in their prisons. If these people are actually terrorists isn't it kind of dangerous to send them to places desperate for the cash they will be paid? Shouldn't they be tried or released at some point?

Obama didn't win the White House by embracing his 20-year mentor, the crazed Rev. Jeremiah Wright. He won the White House by distancing himself from his old anti-American pals and convincing (conning) the "swing voter" that he would be a pragmatic and centrist leader. When this turned out not to be the case, he quickly began losing the people. This administration is now being forced by the people to re-examine whether they should continue to shove an agenda down the throats of Americans that the people don't want and that the people (rightfully) feel is doing them harm.

BTW, I'm not sure why so many around here attack Sarah Palin. Obama was less qualified for the office he ran for in 2008 than Palin was for the office she sought, and today Palin is not in public office at all. If Palin ever were to be president (she wouldn't be my choice), she would obviously surround herself with a better class of people than Obama has, and we'd be in better hands.

Furthermore, some prominent lefties are proving that Palin was right to warn the people about "death panels".

The CNN woman's face looks pretty horrified that he's confirming Palin's warnings.

Krugman says: "And at least for starters, it's going to have to decide which medical procedures are not effective at all and should not be paid for at all. In other words, it should have endorsed the panel that was part of the health care reform."

As Palin warned, when government is involved in these matters, we're heading to the day a government panel will decide who lives and who dies. In other words, death panels.

So, you can see the real reason the socialists hate Palin with such extreme ferocity.

Oh, but you are a "moron" for ever treating anything Palin says with respect and consideration. Say the folks who told us to literally WORSHIP Barack Obama, the..."community organizer". I never sang songs in praise of Palin. I never had bumper stickers in support of her. I never wore t-shirts with her face. In fact, I've never voted for Palin, ever.
