Ida Maria new album - katla

I got the new IDA MARIA album to-day on import from Sweden. It's called KATLA named after the Icelandic volcano. With just 8 songs (and a new team of musicians) it is FANTASTIC. Highlights are CHERRY RED; LET'S LEAVE and 10,000 Lovers.

Ida is a big Moz/Smiths fan. In an interview I did with her two years ago she cited a remix of THERE IS A LIGHT as being a major influence on her.
